What should I do if I have not received my Council Tax bill?

If you have not received your Council Tax bill yet, do not worry. Bills are sent at different times and you should receive yours soon.

If you have not yet received your Council Tax bill for the new financial year, there is no need to worry. Local councils send bills at different times, and some may arrive closer to or after 1 April.

You do not need to contact Homebox or your council straight away. In most cases, your bill will arrive automatically.

Note: Council Tax bills are issued by your local council, not Homebox.

When you receive your bill

Once you receive your Council Tax bill, please upload it to your Homebox portal as soon as possible. This allows us to update your account correctly and avoid any delays.

Tip: Uploading your bill early helps ensure your payments are accurate from the start of the billing year.

If you still have not received your bill

If you have not received your bill after the start of April, you can contact your local council directly to request a copy.

You can find your local council here:

Caution: Do not delay uploading your bill once received, as this may affect your account setup.
