What is the cooling off period?
Your Homebox plan includes a 14-day cooling off period starting from the day you sign up or your annual renewal date. During this time, you can cancel without penalty.
Understanding the cooling off period
When you join Homebox (or renew your annual package), you automatically receive a 14-day cooling off period.
This period gives you time to review your plan, read our Terms of Service, and make sure you’re happy with everything before continuing.
You can choose to cancel your Homebox package within these 14 days without any penalties or fees.
What the cooling off period is — and isn’t
The cooling off period is a legal right to change your mind, not a trial period.
You can use this time to:
-
Review your package details and included services
-
Read through the Terms of Service
-
Make sure your billing details and preferences are correct
Once the 14-day window has passed, standard cancellation terms apply.
⚠️ Note: If any supplier services have already gone live during this time (such as energy, internet, or TV), you may still be charged by the supplier for usage up to your cancellation date.
Thinking of leaving Homebox?
If you’re considering cancelling your service, please review our Cancellation Policy for full details on how to do this and what to expect.
📘 Tip: If you’re unsure whether your 14-day period has ended, you can check your sign-up or renewal date in your Homebox Dashboard.
