How do I update account holders when a housemate changes?

If a housemate is moving out and someone new is moving in, you can easily transfer billing responsibility by providing a few key details. We'll handle the rest once everything is confirmed and up to date.

 

When a tenant moves out and another moves in, follow these simple steps to update the account:

  1. Send us the new tenant's details
    Please provide:

    • Full name

    • Email address

    • Mobile number

    • Move-in date

    ✉️ Tip: You can send these via email or through your portal contact form.

  2. We'll send an invite
    Once we receive the new tenant's details, they’ll get an email invitation to join the account.

    Note: The new tenant must accept the invite to be added.

  3. Let us know who’s moving out
    As soon as the new tenant accepts the invite, provide:

    • The outgoing tenant’s full name

    • Their move-out date

  4. Confirmation and account check
    We’ll check that all payments are up to date before removing the old tenant.

    🧾 Reminder: The outgoing tenant must email us directly to confirm they’re moving out.

Once all the steps are complete and payments are settled, we’ll remove the outgoing tenant.
